You can shorten the pulley whip down to 350mm although most that I know of go to about 400. The advantage is that you can now get more tension on the leech(back) of the sail. You will notice that in some winds the leech actually "flaps" if not under tension and this is slow.

The biggest difference will come from the use of the CRBs. Go try them.
